I have my d...This is so wonderful to come across! I have my direct line to the Schenkel/Shinkle family in Edenkoben and have visited there twice. It is a lovely village. Unfortunately at the time of my visits I had only a few names and little time to do any further research while there. I believe I have the family done to the late 1500s, so it was simply incredible to walk the same cobbled streets and gaze out over the valley where my family originated.
